Hi,
I'm thinking of starting camping with the family, so decided to get a tent. Never camped before, so it's very hard to make any decision - not wiser even after spending hours on the Internet and reading 500 reviews, haha
Can you help to choose one, pretty please? :)
this is what we need/want:
- large tent - 2 adults, 3 kids (1,3,6)
- decent living space, so kidas can be entertained if raining
- easy to pitch
- large bedroom, so can kids can stay close night time
After researching, reading reviews and going through many deals online (we're in Ireland, so will have to rely on web shopping) I'm thinking of hi gear kalahari 8 (or 10, tempted by the bigger size, but would that mean harder to set up and less stability?)
Price with carpet, footprint and porch is around £400
(£450 for kalahari 10) - have any of you purchased/seen a decent large family tent in that price range (or lower) that you'd recommend?
i'd be grateful for any advice...

thanks for all your advice - I really liked the corvus outline, martisa light out pods, also looked (once again) at the Kampa range...
I wish I could find a better deal for corvus 6+2, but the best I could find with extras and shipping to Ireland was £570, comparing to Kalahari 10 for £360... so went for Kalahari - we can use only 2 pods and have bigger living area, similar to corvus.
The windows are much smaller, but just couldn't justify 200 of a difference for a bigger windows - and that leaves us with option to upgrade next year ;)
Now, I just hope kids will like camping - I think it's big enough to play football inside, but hope we'l get some nice weather and won't have to spend too much time inside (yes, I know how naive it sounds, lol)
