Hello everyone,  I've seen a Marachel Portcros cotton 6 berth on tents direct. It looks good but I wondered if anyone has one or knows where you can see these on display or see further photos.  What isn't clear is whether there are insect mesh doors.  Also wondering if our Montana extension would fit?

Tents Direct?  Good service?

Please do not do it unless you see the tent up somewhere and you are 100% sure.

I doubt you will see one pitched anywhere, all you get is french wensites when you google it. If you want an honest opinion you know where we are.

We'd always buy from you whenever possible and recommend you at every opportunity.  We used to have a Marachel tent - before we bought the Montana - but outgrew it.  It was a brilliant tent and we'd holidayed in it for 20 years.  Just looking at the alternatives now the Montana is getting on.  Why are there no other outlets for Marachels in the UK?  My Dad bought the old one from PJs back in the 80s!

That's the one.  When you look on Marachel's own website it's 700 euros.  Like Gary says, it's good to look inside a tent before you buy but as in my post to Gary, my parents had one of these for years.  The weight 23kg looks favourable too.  Perhaps next time we go to France we'll check them out.
