Hi we are thinking of spending 2 weeks next summer touring round central France. We need a tent that will be easy to pitch and take down several times during the 2 weeks. There will be 2 of us and we were thinking of the 4 berth Quechua illumin fresh. Has anyone got any opinions of this tent.
Thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I have seen many of the Decathlon popup tents being used in France by people touring. The only thing I'd suggest is to also take a tarp so that you have some extra shade if it's sunny or cover if its raining. You wouldn't need to put up the tarp unless you need to.

We've got one we used for 3 weeks this summer - fantastic - and cool with the silver reflective stuff. The lights were really useful when you couldn't find a headtorch. We had some rain and it stood up really well. We're in Doncaster, but are at the Paralympics this weekend if that helps ?? Alternatively, we could courier or wait until we're near each other. £125 would seem fair - we've bought a bigger used tent from the Yeomans end of season display thing, but this one is ideal for touring - up and down in a minute literally!! Thanks, Adrian
That's fine - it was going to go on ebay and all the associated hassle you get with that, but always easier this way. Have you seen one up in Decathlon ? How do you want to proceed ? I could get a price for courier or if you know anyone who travels for work I'm often out and about the UK - or like I say we're at the paras on Sat ??
Let me know. Cheers, Adrian
