We currently own an Outwell Vermont XLP which is perfect for long breaks but when we want to go camping on the odd sunny weekend at the drop of a hat, the XLP is a beast & too much effort to pitch & re-pack for a short stay.
Can anyone recommend a tent that is easy to put up, would fit 2 adults & one 8 year old (preferably separate but joined bedrooms) but would be easy for me to pitch on my own (with a little help from my 8 year old) if my partner was working over the weekend?
I love Outwell but would be happy with any other quality brands that can withstand the British weather!
Thanks!

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
After much debating I ended up with an Outwell Trout Lake 4. Decided to try a smaller polycotton tent as an alternative to the Vermont...best of both worlds that way. Was very tempted by the Nevada M though.
I wish that we'd gone camping this weekend as it's been so lovely.
Too late with my reply... Decathlon do a great four person pop-up that fits the three of us in (we too have an eight year old), only £130 - although we got it for £90 whilst it was on offer... Great little tent, perfect for weekends, ticks all your wants... There again, Trout Lake 4 is bloody lovely!
