There are many reviews stating leaks from the zips. Anyone not had any problems with this tent in heavy rain?

We have this tent and have only used it a few times. We purchased it when it was on offer in go outdoors for fifty quid. It was bought for using at festivals. Our tent has never had any problems with leaky zips but to be fair it's never been pitched in very heavy rain. It's had a few wee showers which it's coped with fine with.

I've had 3 trips in mine. It's certainly rained each time I've been away, very heavily last year and I've not had any leakage problems. I'm really happy with it

I would say Rob that if you're looking for a weekend tent for 2 adults and 2 kids that the Atakama would be a real squeeze. I use if for me and my 17 yr old giant of a son and it works well. Don't know if it might work if you had a canopy of some kind too though?

Hi

We have experienced very heavy rain in ours and thunder storms! We had a couple of drips but nothing major. We've had many a great trip in ours - 2 adults and a 3/4 yr old, before new baby arrived and we've now got a bigger, Vango tent which also lets a couple of drips in now and then.
