I don't have one but because this tent is currently being offered by Go Outdoors (GO) for £49.99 I looked at a couple which were pitched at a festival last week.

From my brief inspection, the Windermeres I saw look quite spacious (although not for five people) and the dome section provides good headroom.

The bedroom pod unit has a SIG (sewn in groundsheet) with a 'bib' that folds out to provide a groundsheet in the living area - but this section does not attach to the flysheet (and there are no storm flaps) so the living area has a potentially draughty gap round the bottom.

However, my main criticism is that the two windows are very small and, as the tent fabric is dark blue, the living area of this tent is rather dark inside.

You get what you pay for with tents (like anything else) and HiGear is GO's own-brand budget range so it would be unreasonable to expect high quality and durability at such a low price. But at only fifty quid, I'd say it was a steal.
