We purchased a new Horizon 8 in July from Very and have used it a couple of times. This last week was the first time it had rained on it and it leaked at most of the seams. Very will give us a refund but cannot exchange as have no more tents of this kind.
The problem is we have brought a porch and footprint from different places so cannot return these as nothing wrong with them and now used.
Gelert cannot replace as they have none left either. We only paid £219 and if we get a refund cannot find another one for a similar price. Also is it likely to leak again???
Do we seal the seams ourselves - will this solve it?? Do we return the tent and sell the accessories and start again? Gelert just kept saying there was nothing they could do and we should get some seam sealer?
Please help, new family of campers and very confused - do we need to try a different make?
