Hi everyone! We have an old Vango Diablo 600 (about 7 years old) which we upgraded for a caravan (boo hiss). We used the tent for the first time this year for 4 years and loved it but we are looking to upgrade to one with windows. We love the Montana 6p but yesterday saw an Outwell Delaware 5 which seemed to have everything we wanted. Have been looking through this site and have only found 2 reviews of this. Anybody have any thoughts on the Delaware. Wondering why it isn't as popular as the Montana? Any feedback would be brilliant. Thanks

Thanks. I like the Delaware as it already has the extra room built in and doesn't need an extension putting up. Saw one yesterday and was quite impressed. There is also a Delaware 7 which is huge but offers more more

Love my D5.....up in one....great. Was fab last weekend in torrential rain and wind......love that the front zips off completely (weather permitting)...... Have also got Nevada M with awning and extension...loads of space but a night having to take down 3 pieces when absolutely chucking it down!! Delaware is so easy to erect also......
It will be a long long time before another Outwell is as popular as the Montana as its been around for 6 or so years . As mcguire has already pointed out the Delaware is a much newer model. Outwell tents are normally pretty good just look at reviews of their other tents. If you wanted something a bit bigger there is always the Vermont LP

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I've got the Vermont XL and love it. I also really like the Delaware and if I'd seen that before we bought our Oakland as a weekender, I'd have had the Delaware 5 instead! We had to buy the awning for the Oakland, we really just wanted a tent that was quick to put up/take down for a weekender, but with the awning, really it takes as long as the Vermont does. Actually, with that in mind, if we had somewhere we could dry it properly at home and pack it away easily, I don't think we'd use anything else. Definitely better having them as an all in one unit if you can and the Delaware really is a nice tent
------------- Regards,
Kathryn
