We have a 2011 one - great tent - but I see that the 2012 model has a 3+3 configuration, which would suit us better (is anyone else really annoyed by the elevated zippy section in the 4-bedded pod?!)
Can we clip the 3+3 bedrooms onto the roof toggles of our older model?
And can we buy the bedrooms separately, anyway?!
Thanks

As far as I'm aware, manufacturers do not appear to sell the bedroom pods seperately apart from Outwell who made the "kids room" pods available for some of their tents.
I had this problem when wanting a new pod for my Khyam tent. I spoke to several camping/caravan outlets and they all said that the best thing to do was to find a second hand tent off somewhere like eBay and use it for the bits I needed - not very helpful!
It certainly wouldn't hurt to contact Kampa and see if they do sell the pods seperately and if the new 2012 3+3 ones would fit your tent.
Weve always found the same thing with bedroom arrangement a 3 + 3 would suit us best but our 2 bigger tents all have 4 + 2. If you cant get one now you may find at the end of 2013 you may get a pod as Kampa take all their "returned" tents back from retailers and then sell them off.
I would ask Gary at Cross Camping about the bedrooms really helpful chap and a Kampa distributor as well.
And yes the elevated divider is rubbish our yougest either rolls under it or comes through complete with airbed. A couple of extra quid for a bottom zip would have stopped it

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Sorry to disappoint Star Girl, but I had the same issue with the 4 + 2 set up. I contacted Kampa and they said even if I bought new bedrooms in a 3 + 3 configuration it would not work, because the toggles to attach bedrooms to the flysheet are in different places.
Maybe Gary will tell us different. I hope so

Hi
Sorry, not a spare I have knocking about. If you do get hold of one I see no reason why it wouldn't fit, yes some of the toggles might not line up but it's nothing some bungee cord couldn't fix.
