After the awful winds and rain that we had this year camping i have started to look at changing our tent!!! although i love our Horizon 8 i have changed my mind on my needs and wants!! ok so there is 5 of us 2 adults 1 teenager and 2 under 7's. Ideally i want us all sleeping at 1 end (dont know what style tent thats called)steel poles, some where to put kitchen and cook. Cost not a huge issue if it truns out to be the best option but like anything would prefer cheaper the better!!!
Any suggestions and experience very my appreciated xx

There were some good deals around on Kampa tents may still be as they were including carpet and footprint in with the price

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Not got one but a lot of people love the Vango Maritsa you would probably find the 7 man version works best for you. Sleeping all at one end, then a living area and then an attached porch that you can use as a kitchen area.
Have you thought about a trailer tent? Second hand ones you can pick up quiet cheaply every ones sleeps one end most of them are tough as old boots with loads of room
We have an Outwell Vermont xlp, which has 3 bedrooms, a living area and an enclosed porch which they call the panorama room. There are 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids under 10 and we had loads of room. The vango Monteverdi is also a tunnel tent of the same layout and I think the bedrooms are slightly wider. We love our Vermont, the living space is fab and the steel poles all stood up to some very gusty winds with no problems.
