The newest tent in the collection has arrived... I call her "Hyacinth".



She didn't cost much, and I will have to give her a bit of Fabsil and seam sealer, but then she will be a nice weekend tent for my solo camping weekends!

Standing height in the middle, 3-4 berth, and the cutest colour... And I thought I had all the tents I needed...

She is what we call a "DIY-store-tent", because they are sold cheaply at those places, she is a model "Venice 250", but I don't think you will find her on the internet...
So not the best quality, that's why she will need some Fabsil and seam sealer. I just couldn't resist the colour and shape! She has been looked good after, and I expect to use her on fair weather weekends or put a tarp over.

I know it's pathetic - but since the weather is too bad to put up the tent on the lawn, I have at least assembled the poles, and this "sceleton" is in my livingroom now - actually I'm just now sitting "in the tent"...

The weather was good - so I just had to put her up for an hour on the lawn, took me 30 minutes, it can be done by one person but I am not sure how I would manage in windy conditions!

I have to slacken the inner a bit, otherwise the fly touches the inner. Oh yes, and 2 rubber rings to attach again, that's a minor thing I can do on those long dark winter evenings...
