Hi and Welcome to the site. Tent choice seems to vary from person to person> However, the one thing that those of us who camp with children have in common - its that we all say go for a large living area. You need somewhere for the kids to lay when its wet outside. One of the reason's we got a big frame tent was after a wet weekend in an tent with a tiny living area. (Otherwise great tent.)
Don't be afraid to take pleanty of warm clothes, bedding especially for your daughter - theres nothing worse than being cold - especially during the night.
My two usually find that there's other kids on the park that they can play with - without the need for an entertainment complex. I also have a box of colouring type of activities that I keep just for camping. Cheap dough, felt tips, colouring books etc. Helps keep my two entertianed. Very useful when I need them by the tent, but I need to get on with other jobs, also if the weather aint to good.
