Can anyone recommend a tent for over night stops, it needs to be as small as possible as we have hardly any space left in the car & cheap as no money left having bought new outwell this year. Any advice gratefully received

i have a Gelert Eiger 4 which was £27.50 from tesco - worth keeping an eye on their site for bargains

If you don't mind sleeping a bit cramped (only space for 4 SIMs), but want standing height in a tent that packs small and is easily and very fast erected, have a look at the EasyCamp Tipi. We are three, and can stay in it comfortably for some days. It has no inner though, so best for summer time camping.

How about getting two 2 man tents? There's loads on ebay. For about £10-15 each you could get something adequate for overnight stays. Added bonus is they pack up pretty small
