Photo 47 in the link has a side open canopy on. I am after a similar thing bu closed canopy.

I have never seen a closed awning on the side on a Montna 6, seen a few open ones on the side. The Vermont side awning might fit on the side without the rain entrace but then you may have to pay for 2 pitches due to the width. Plus its also more expensive then the Montana 6 fron awning.

Do you think the montana 6 front awning may fit on the side ???? I've had a bit of time to look into the vermont and the width of it is going to be slightly overkill for the montana.

Front extensions/awnings dont fit on the side as there is no flap to go over the tent so if it rains any water will run down the tent roof into the extension. Outwell never made anything specifically to go on the side of the Monty but they did a universal canopy which was used a lot on the side of the monty and that was 340cm wide and I used one on our Vermont

I now use a Gelert Corvus 6 porch on the side of it picked up on Ebay for £49 ok the green doesnt match but it works fine. Anything you use is going to be suck it and see really unless you start another topic "What side extension/awning to use on a Montana" and see what others have used

I have seen a picture with a Montana 6 with a Outwell side awning but it was one not designed for the tent.

Also I understand Outwell did a canopy around 2008-2010 that was used on the front of the Montana 6, not sure if this can be used on the side though. You may find this on Ebay if you look as Outwell no longer do it.

The current Montana Awning and Extension are only desinged for the front of the tent.
