My tent was bought via alchemistic on ebay. They sell returned tents for Go Outdoors, that are not checked/repaired. So is the most "risky".

However most are either minor faults or missing poles. Or as in my case, totally fine. Mine was sold as "leaks needs reproofing", however it passed a hose pipe test I carried out.

Not bad for just under £20, paid for a tent currently about £97 (which is also a good price) in their sale.

With Alchemistic tents sold with missing poles, you can get lucky and also pick up the poles via him. A few days ago (and I think currently on offer) he had some Hi Gear Corado's with missing poles. He now has a set of full poles for at least 2 of the models (4 berth, and I think 8 berth).

As KampaWendy pointed out, if you want a risk free returned tent via ebay, then use the 2 named sellers. If you are happy to take a risk then use Alchemistic, you could be lucky like in my case, and that of others.

However obviously alchemistic's tents are mostly Hi Gear ones, as they are Go's biggest selling brand. But you often see Outwell's being sold via him. So this avenue will of course limit the brands you could get.

With that in mind, the other sellers could be a better option given your choices.

As I own one I have to say you will probably find the Nevada XL (6 berth) too small in the bedroom department, its exactly the same width as the Nevada M (5 berth) which it is based on however Outwell decided to change the bedroom layout from a 3-2 split to a 3-3 split to give equal size bedroom and call it a 6 berth but in reality turned it into a nice size 4 berth. Otherwise great tent with a massive living area and lots of windows making it light and airy. You would probably be better off looking at the Outwell Cleveland 6 instead to get the bigger bedrooms at around the same price as the Nevada XL

Dont discount the Kampa Croyde 6 really nice tent, good quality, steel poles, built in front canopy which can be enclosed with the addition of the Vestibule, easy to pitch, plenty of room for a family of 4 and Kampas after sales is excellent.

Thank you - i had a look just and i like the design. But its still quite narrow, perhaps im trying to think too much but with the Martisa there is the 3+2 main bedroom, which would work great initially and would accomodate the beds we want, and then later  the capability of dropping the divider in the main bedroom, and has the additional pod at 150cm wide, so when the kids do get a bit older and may want their privacy, they could have it in the sparate pod and divider in the main pod. 

Seems to suite a number of different living arrangements....
