Hi, Just bought my Soulpad and not used it yet, but had a different 4m before (different make). We always had problems with the separate groundsheet and the flaps. So we bought the Sig. I have looked on youtube at the tutorials but they are for the separate groundsheet. Can anyone give tips of this one, as the truth is..... my tents always look ridiculous, embarrassinly so!  They never look like the smooth examples on all the pictures!

Should be as simple as pegging the groundsheet flat, putting the poles in then guying out. If you find the fabric isn't tight all over you need to check positions of the guyrope pegs, I always line mine up with both centre peak and where the guy is attached (making sure that it is also in line with the groundsheet peg) and approx 3-4ft from tent. If these aren't in line the tent tends to twist.

I think one of the trick is to peg in the groundsheet by doing opposite pegs all the time, e.g. peg in at 1pm then 7pm, then perhaps 4pm and 10pm ... and keep going around like that.  That's how I do mine and it seems to work!

thank you. that makes sense. it's just that shoo many other tents seem taut and mine just looks baggy. and no matter how I adjust the ropes it never seems to make any difference. Will try this. thanks

 Rather a newbie camper, but thoroughly enjoyed my bell tent last year, so this year upgraded (not a good idea to share a tent). So yes, would love to. Keep me posted.

I just wondered if there were any youtube turorials of a sewn in groundsheet. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems!!!
