I have brought a Corado 8 tent and carpet but I can't get a footprint as the tent and accessories have been discontinued 😞
Does anyone have the dimensions of the footprint so I can buy an alternative? Looking at the photos online it looks like the footprint is only the size of the main tent and not the canopy, is anyone able to confirm this? When I wrote to Go, they only gave me the dimensions of the tent which I assume includes the porch?!?
Thanks in advance for your help

You can, of course, make your own, either out out of a bigger tarp/heavy duty polythene, or even add two or more smaller ones together, to suit.
Make sure that whatever you use, it does not extend outside of the tents dimensions. Normally, I think 2" too small all the way round is about right. Any water running down and off the tent needs to drip onto the grass and drain away.... NOT ONTO THE FOOTPRINT!!
And that also answers the earlier question regarding the canopy area.... any water landing in that area should not be able to trickle under the main tent groundsheet. So either a separate groundsheet is needed for in there, with a small gap between the two, or even some of those nice comfy foam mats instead!

I have tried to get a footprint from Go and they're all sold out, my husband travels the county and when you ring/reserve online the store calls back to say out of stock 😡. One store even me that they'd be back in the spring, when another said they'd been discontinued, which has now been confirmed by Customer services.
I will have to make my own footprint and I will use all of the helpful advice you lovely people have provided.
Can't wait to go away now! Hoping to fit in a cheeky weekend at Easter
Hi
If you are going to use a tarpaulin these are normally smaller than stated because the material is cut to the listed size and then hemmed all round, there are lots of sizes listed on Ebay. I personally would use a separate piece under the porch as you may have pegging points under the front door also rain could be driven on to it better still would be to use a breathable groundsheet in this area as rain will drain through

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I have had clearance stock moved from store to store:
· 1. Put a click and collect order in. (discount card holders only)
· 2. Wait for them to email you.(don’t pick it up)
· 3. Wait for them to phone you. tell them you have been called away with work or whatever floats your boat and ask if they can send it to a store near you. This has worked 4 out of 5 times for me.
All depends on how good the staff is in the branch holding the stock.
on that note Cardiff and Exeter staff rock oh and Bristol.
Im not proud of it but it has saved me quite a bit of money.
Which of course go outdoors I have spent with you.

We just bought one of these from Go yesterday! No ground sheet sheet for us either. So the advice here is great thanks. Go transfered our tent from a store down south to York (not our nearest store but one near enough to travel to)
