The black cups are feet for the A frame that sits inside the tent. The clear things are rain cowls for putting on the spikes (on top of the canvas). The other bits are spare springs for your poles and other spares.
Hi, I got the scrunched up bit of tarp and didn't know what to do with it, so it ended up at the bottom of one of the bags. Thinking about it, although mine is packed up too much to check, could you use it to hold the pegs, cowls and feet, stopping them damaging the main cotton bags?
In the interest of canvas equality, I should point out the cowls can be placed on the poles under as well as over the canvas
I believe the scrunched up bit of tarp is a "sock" for the main pole so that it does not mark the groundsheet when raising the pole.
I don't use mine for my Escala 4 as I use a cheapo picnic rug as tent carpet and the main pole foot sits on top of the carpet.
