We're new to camping, so would appreciate any advice - have decided on 8 person tunnel design with bedrooms at each end of tent. Does anyone have experience of these tents at all, good and bad points ? Will need it to be easy(ish) to put up - possibly by myself. The kampa looks nice due to windows, and mesh doors, but also Khyam has very good reviews. We would look at getting the enclosed porch for either tent also, for cooking etc.
Any opinions or advice welcome !

I have had the Ontario 8 since 2007 and we absolutely love it.
* quick and easy to erect
* large windows let in loads of light
* SIG which drops flat at the doors do no trip hazard
* great sized bedroom pods (this is a genuine 8 berth tent and can comfortably accommodate 8 x 75cm wide air beds, not just 60cm wide mats that most manufacturers base their bedrooms on)
* bedroom pods can be removed to give flexible sleeping/living space
* spacious central living area
* standing height throughout (225cm)
* good ventilation
* door can be canopied open using king poles provided
* 5000HH rating and taped seams
Ours has withstood everything the great British weather has thrown at it over the years and it still looks like new!
I would highly recommend it.
No experience of the Kampa Sandown so can't comment.
Kampa tents in general are very highly thought of so there is no reason why the Sandown shouldn't be an excellent buy add to that Kampas reputation for really good after sales

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
