Hi
Dont ever remember the 2011 Croyde being green ours is blue. There is no difference as far as im aware between 2011 and 2012 models. For 2013 the front door design changed, a low level vent was added to the rear, window curtains have storage pockets and of course the colour changed. Lots of reviews in the tent review section

Hi Pearljam it might be worth reading the reviews section to help in your choice. My personal top tip is to try to see one on display if you can. That way you can have a good look and decide if it's right for you.

Hi
Yes the Croyde is a decent tent for your money no real problems with it, easy to pitch, large windows so nice and bright inside, built in canopy which can be rolled back if not needed or fit a vestibule to enclose it. Biggest change for 2013 is the new front door which can be opened in different stages rather than the stable door of the earlier models

I think the Croyde is a cracking tent, put it this way I would not put all three models up if I thought it was a dud. The pre 2013 tents were great but the 2013 is just that bit better, all of the tiny little tweaks that customers wanted are now done. It even seems to sit better, maybe its the cut of the fabric or the way the front door now has the lip/sewn in step.
It is still by far the best value tent on the market, I would say if you can save yourself £100 plus by buying the 2012 then great but if its less than that go for the 2013.

Thanks Guys as you have saved me having to post a similar message and have more than likely convinced the OH and myself to get a croyde 6!! you guys aren't half useful sometimes!!!
Hey hughjazz - looks like we are getting the same tent
what is the best price you can get?
you going for 2013 or 2012 model?
we hope to get the footprint and carpet but im not convinced on the vestibule. bit more space but i like having the porch section wide open instead of vestibule zipped down.
well there are some reasonable deals on ebay that we have looked at!! im sure many people on here will have other places with reasonable deals as well.
Im not quite as sure we will be getting one as an outwell polycotton tent has drawn the eye of the OH instead so may well make a enquiry about that first!!

Unfortunately you wont find many deals on the 2013 croyde as kampas pricing policy means that retailers sell them at pretty much the same price except of course ex show models. If you would prefer to buy from an independent retailer then i can recommend "cross camping" for their excellent service. If its a 2012 model act quickly cos when their gone their gone
