We are considering downsizing from our BL6.It is in tip top condition,no marks, damage,no leaks etc.Hardly any signs of fading. It has been used 3 times since bought new in August 2010.It also has the official footprint groundsheet as well to be included.
What kind of price should we consider asking for,tbh I'm clueless

Sue, I have a watch set up on ebay just to keep an eye on BL's. There's one due to end soon which is at £360 and it's a 2008. From what I've seen, a little used 2010 in VGC with the official footprint would go for between £500 and £600, more if sold privately, or at least, outside eBay.
Good luck.

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
We really love our BearLake, but as there is just the 2 of us now, both turned 60 and Phil with his arthritis we are looking for something smaller.
The quality of this tent is superb, times when it has been windy campers have stopped and said how well it copes with the wind, hardly a murmur from the canvas.

I know Sue, I know. I'm hoping I'm still up for wrestling with ours for a few years yet. Like you, there's just the 2 of us now, although the youngest may join us in France, and we may get some time in with the middle one and her two - they can have our old Orchy if they like the camping life.
I just wish we'd got our BL when we returned to camping and before I started getting to know the NHS very well. I'm OK now but so far all we've done is take it out of the bag for a cursory check
We're desperate for a garden pitch and test week-end camp before we go to France!! Come on weather!!
Good luck selling it, there's lots of folks out there looking for good condition examples.

Please please please dont give up on Outwell Poly Cotton. Find a video of the Outwell Concorde M or L inflatable, you will love the ease of them.

That was a good buy. We got ours new from G.O. on a price match for £630 in 2011, but it was a 2010, and we'd to get the footprint, carpet (x2, so we can do the bedrooms) and matching windbreak, which all adds.
Still got to get the b*gger up yet!

Do you know, at the time I was glad it was the previous years stock. The stripey has grown on me since though. I see for the 2013 carpets and furniture tops they're going for a grey pattern, which I'm looking at in some pads for our big chairs:
Mrs G thinks I need some sort of 12 step programme, as she thinks I have too much time on my hands. In this instance, she is correct

Hi sunvalleysue,
Without wanting you to disclose your price (if you sold it), but did you get anywhere near the prices mentioned on here...
We're putting our 2011 Trout Lake 4 up for sale - carpet, footprint and an unused front extension included with free delivery.
I was hoping for similar prices....
As yet not put it up for sale,we are still undecided tbh.One half is saying its too big for us,the other half of us wants to keep it as its a brilliant tent, especially in the wind....
Watch this space.

Thanks - very hard decision to make as the Outwell PC's are really good, but for me its more needs must from simplicity and a weight point of view (the tent - not me) having done my back in.
