Just seen this tent at our local camping outlet along side the Vango and Outwell equivalents and the layout is great, just what I would choose if I was to design my own.......the only downside for me was the fact that it isn't polycotton I was disappointed with the Outwell as the SIG was of a much poorer quality than that of their other polycotton tents and the Vango. We have bought the Vango Shangrila 600 and this ticks most of the boxes...........should the Filey 6 ever be made out of polycotton then I think I could be tempted to buy one

Kampa did do the Filey 6 "classic" polycotton tent which is now discontinued (pole version only). You can find some terrific bargains at the moment for this tent especially compared to the premium price of inflatable tents (at least 50% cheaper).
Hi Dawn
probably early days for you I guess, but I'll chance the question in case you've done a dummy run...
How do you find the material on the Vango?
OK, its not Poly-Cotton as you say, but is it better than standard polyester?
The material on the Vango is poly cotton tho I'm not sure the quality for the tent is quite as good as the Outwell but the Vango sig beat the Outwell hands down. I must confess that at one point I had a hand on both the Outwell and Vango checking the quality lol
The material on the Kampa was much thicker than the standard polyester and felt like really good quality.......but for me its not polycotton so tho I loved the design I won't be tempted to switch from the Vango unless Kampa did the Filey air 6 in polycotton
Think the airbeam technology is the way forward for us........until we have a major 'blowout' then I may have to reconsider lol
I hope that answers your question x

Congrats on your air tent purchase. I was re-looking at the air tents earlier this year as I couldn't get on with the Vango Eternity 600 air beam so ended up selling it and getting a good deal on a Filey 6 Air. I didn't have the funds to go down the poly-cotton route so the Filey 6 seem to tick all the boxes, especially with the single inflation point and opening windows.
The Shangri La looks nice though - when are you taking it out for a test run?
