Hi Caz
I am pretty pleased with it except for the design of the front windows but will probably get used to them, I now have 7 tents so a few will have to go probably the Kampa Croyde 6 will go first as its pretty much the same design, then the Kampa Perran as eldest has his own tent now. Plus I have a Wild Country Halo 73 in the loft which we used once from new the others I will think about will keep the Outwell Nevada M though for weekends the Vermont and the Nevada XL cant make up my mind what to do with those

arsenaldes We too have just purchased the Kampa Holkham
It's fab sooo much room
and yes I wondered about the front windows...
though the tent has been pitched in the sun for a couple of days now...and boy it's hot inside ... I don't think we will have any issues.
The only problem we have had so far is that the pack size swallowed all the space in our Renault Megane
So while hubby popped off to invest in an Erde trailer
I thought I would have a go at pitching (bear in mind I'm 4ft nothing)having watched the videos off I set
First thought how is little ol me gonna get it down the garden (very large garden) bearing in mind the weight and pack size
Wheelbarrow to my rescue poles also went in the wheelbarrow (seperate trip)
footprint down, not an extremely cheap one but will be putting eyelets in
Pegged the 4 corners and attempted the middle pole as video suggests ( well for the life of me I couldn't lift It, once it was in the pole sleeve)spent 40 minutes head scratching as you do
attempted to work from back to front inserting poles and stepping out
Yesss cracked it
just 3 guys to complete it when hubby turned up with trailer
took me just short of an hour and half - minus the head scratching time 1 hour approx for little ol me to pitch
earned A few points for the girls I think - must remember to pack my steps
all in all a great bit of tent
Our first trip out with it will be at Solway View in May

Thats a might fine tent - soooo big.
Good job you have a big garden!
Love the colour too.
Well done to shorty for putting it up alone - not even I would attempt that!!
Well done shorty thats no mean feat pitching on your own as its even bigger than the Holkham. I can live with the front windows its the numpty that thought it would be a good idea to leave the plastic out of a fab tent that i cant understand

Ooh, what are the clips you've used on the top of the vestibule and where did you get them from please?
Thanks

Hi Whippetlover
They are tent pole clips the same as used to clip the flysheet to the poles think they were 22/25mm any camping shop should have them but i think i got them from www.tentspares.co.uk. Used them on our Kampa Croyde vestibule as the canopy always wanted to fall back towards the front door when the centre guy was removed, the clips not only stops the vestibule blowing off but you can attach guys to them as well

Tent looks great and I was hoping you could leave a review of this tent and images in the Tent Review sections. This will enable visitors who do not frequent the forums to read about the tent and view your photos too.

Thanks for that :) Just bought an Outwell Califirnia Highway and have been wondering about possibly needing a bit of added stability (if needed on occasion) for the front canopy. Do you think they will work for this?
Sorry for the hijack *blush* and thanks for the help!

Hi Whippetlover
Yes it should work ok you may need smaller clips if you are attaching to the fibre roof poles

Thanks for sharing Des man that looks the bargain of the year. Your OH couldn't possibly be angry with you over this. How you pitched that in that width I don't know. Id love to know what your neihbours say every time you put another tent up.
