after purchasing the virginia 5 tent in 2011, we,ve only been camping twice. after a new arrival to our young family we soon relised that we needed the extension to carry on camping in the great british weather! after weeks of searching to no avail my last hope is that someone has a spare whether it be faulty for sale, heres hoping x

The extension was always in short supply as originally the Virginia was exclusive to Yeomans. Now if memory serves I think people were using the pre 2012 Vango Icarus 500 canopy on it. The later Icarus canopy was wider than the earlier ones might be worth checking the reviews

hi the oakland xl side extention works for me though it is open fronted so depends on the way you plan to use the space perfect for sheltered cooking area and dirty boot area there are a few avaliable on ebay / amazon

Hi everyone,

Did you find your much hunted for extension Rachie? I hope so - we too are looking for one to start camping with our two little boys.
I can recommend the footprint and carpet from the Wyoming range to make it warmer and more comfy (back garden tested only!)

I really love this little tent but would love more space - anybody out there who has one up for grabs I will happily join the queue for it!

Hi Gadget70, just bought a Coleman Galileo 5 extension for my Virginia 5 and it fits perfectly.... Its got bigger windows than the Icarus so that's why I chose it. Will post pics soon so you can see... Its about the same price I think £119!
