Hi haven't been on this forum for a while but we had bought a tent to go camping with but unfortunately my husband passed away suddenly at only 33 and so I no longer have any need for the tent. It's a hi gear Mojave 5 brand new in bag never been used..someone I know said would want to buy it but I haven't clue what to sell at. I also have the electric hook up which is brand new too but Again don't know what to sell it at. I do need rid of it as no longer have the space but again we did pay lot of money at the time for it and don't want to just give It away for nothing...any advice is welcome.

Sorry to hear you're sad news.

If as you say the tent is new, why not try to sell it for about 10% less than you bought it for? It it is still available new you could use that as a guide to what you sell it for. Failing that search eBay to get an idea what it's worth.

I have just sold my 3 year old tent which was in A1 condition for about 50% of the original cost. We'd used it about 6 times. I advertised it on this website and it took about a month to sell.

Hi there, so sorry to here that.
You might get a better response posting on the "camping under canvas "forum.(it is mainly tent camping ,this forum is mainly for folding campers and trailer tents) In fact someone in the other forum maybe interested in the purchase.As for the hook up,have a look at some of the camping web sites for the valuation ei towsure ect
For a quick sale have a look on ebay and compare prices.
The market place may be smaller ,but you can post on the free adds on this website,

Just seen some on ebay 1 new ,unwanted prize ,no extras
£150 no extras buy it now price.A second used with extras stating price £200 ,   hope this helps,
