Can anyone please help, I've recently got one of the above secondhand, but no instructions.
I've sussed out the uprights but there are 3 sections with elbows and i don't know whether they go front to back or side to side???
using it in a weeks time so looks like a divorce on the cards if we can't get it up

If you look at the floorplan image:

Then look at pics of the

tent pitched, you should be able to work it out.

The apex of the roof is as you look at it, so the roof sections go from side to side. Then, you should have push-out kitchen section poles, for the right hand side? (If you click on the pics in the link I've posted, you can see how that goes together).

Just make sure you line up the legs with the seams in the canvas, and have the door shut when you peg out, then you should be fine.

P.S. Suggest you erect the frame but leave it on it's 'knees' (with leg uprights broken, and bottom section splayed out). Then, roll the canvas over the frame (usually easier to start at the front, and ease the canvas over the stub canopy poles (short front poles) to make sure you don't damage the canvas.

When you're happy that the roof section is sitting squarely on the frame, lift the legs to their upright position (being careful not to snag the canvas in the frame joints as you lift), then square it all up, go inside and make sure the legs etc are all lined up nicely with the seams in the canvas, and tie it on (usually there are tapes, around the top bit).

With the door shut, start pegging the rear corners first, making sure the back is nice and straight and the canvas taut, then basically square up your front corners and do the same thing.

You'll soon get the hang of it. Frame tents are a doddle to pitch, once you now how.

It's worth getting some different coloured electricians tape, the first time you pitch, and mark adjoining pole pieces with colour-matched tape, so that next time it'll be obvious what goes where.

Not sure who's still monitoring this forum topic but I recently bought a old continental 6 and was wondering if spares are still available for this tent.

In particular, I am looking for the short poles that extend the front overhang.

Incidentally, I also have the original instructions
