So Halfords have a super cheap tent for sale right now, and it is rather large according to the specs on the website. But I have never heard of the 'Aventura' brand. Anyone reckon it can be trusted or any good?

sorry don't know anything about that tent but it does look alot like the cheap vis a vis from tesco which has dreadful reviews, with 1500 HH it won't stand much rain.

If you want advice on a budget best let us know your max price and ages/sex of people it will be used for. £40 will get you a reasonable secondhand canvas tent which would put the one you've listed to shame.

I think it's an own brand (may be wrong). If it a Halfords own brand, their other one Urban Escape?? is better.

But take the above advice. Give your budget etc and let others give you suggestions for the best tent for your money.

i got this aventura tent the 6 man one.bought it to try my 3 yr old at camping whilst i use the other bedroom pod,i paid £56 and wouldnt of paid any more as it does have a few issues.inner tent pods could of done with a few more inches on head room tho the main center pod is great for 6ft and a bit people, stability mite be of concern as there are no guy ropes on the center dome.its well built and is great if u can get it on a deal as its huge for a budget tent
