I'd get it pitched and sponge the area with warm, plain water. Use a soft brush if necessary, to shift what you can and then sponge again and let it dry out, thoroughly, to see what you're dealing with.
Sunlight can kill mould spores, so leave the tent pitched and it shouldn't get any worse. It might even clear it up. If not, sponge again - both sides of the canvas, and leave again. It shouldn't get any worse once it's pitched, since mould likes warm, damp conditions to grow,not light airy ones.
Pray for a bit of sunshine, while you're at it! You may be pleasantly surprised and you may be able to catch it in time.
