I have a Gelert Quebec 8+4 and looking to add a porch as economically as possible.

Tucked away I have a Gelert Morpheus 8 end porch - would I be able to utilise this?

We are "fair weather" campers so not looking for something that would stand up to bad weather - it's just to give is some more space.

What are my options with this tent?

P.S. I see Hi-Gear sell porches that look like they may fit?

Thanks very much

Loved the tent, but pitching/striking became less & less fun. Motorhome = arrive to brewing up in 10 minutes!

If it were me, id be going to have a word at Go Outdoors, to ask their advice on a porch that would fit. Or have a look online and find the measurements of the original porch, and then see what you can find with the same or similar measurements.

you need a side porch as it has an oversized flap that goes over the tent unlike front porches which just wrap around the front arch of the tent which the Quebec doesn't have.

Nope, the Morpheus wouldnt be any good. As Tynx said above, you need a side porch for your new tent, which has a flap of fabric going over the top of your tent to attach it. Your Morpheus porch is an end one, which makes a tunnel tent longer, if you see what i mean, the door on your Quebec is on the side, so you need a side porch. Look into it, from what i can gather, your Quebec is 210cm tall..youll need a 210cm(ish) tall side porch. Alternatively, have you considered a gazebo or a day tent?
