Hi all.
I have just randomly bought a Gelert Atlantis 3 from Toys R Us for £39.99.(did not need or go looking for another tent!)
It's ideal for short breaks with the kids and a cheap and less bulky way to get them out and about than the zenobia.
Only thing now as is as it's not widely available everywhere i am struggling to find a porch/canopy to fit?
Something to extend it slightly would be great.

Have checked on Go Outdoors site as i know the Rock 4 porch and Atlantis 4 fit together but has anyone any ideas if there is one that will fit the 3? Measurement differences aren't too far off but just not sure?

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

If you're not to fussed about colour matching the  Royal Universal Canopy is slightly wider & taller but will give you an area you can stand in as the Atlantis 3 is 230 wide x 165 high (well I could stand in there but gelert show it as shoulder height 17) and the royal canopy is 270cm wide x 195cm high. Or you could try the Gelert mini canopy which is 300cm wide x 135 high, I would try and pull the tension strap tighter to make it taller & slimmer but not sure if you can officially.

There is a canopy from Gelert.

Atlantis 3 Canopy

Seems mad though... It is priced at £89.99 and you paid £39.99 for the tent. My recommendation is to be a second tent - a day tent and a night tent.

sounds like you'll just have to squeeze in a bit :)

that sounds like a bargain for a Atlantis- I didn't know it came in a 3, I have the 4 but it's too heavy to take when  I go by train

I have also just purchased the Atlantis 3 and will look for a canopy to fit both this and my Sprayway Hood River 4!!    The Hood 4 I use with a cabin tent/marquis look-a-like (as kitchen/eating area - £20 from Asda) and have had 4 successful holidays of upto 18 days gestation. Bought Hood 4 as you can have 3 separate bedrooms (teenage girl + boy) but it isn't stupidly bulky - but still too big for weekend). As I am on a Sun holiday deal/s in a static this summer I just wanted something for the weekend between my dates - so I can save on fuel etc etc. Hoping the Atlantis 3 will act as weekend tent/fishing bivvi (holiday destination has fishing lakes). Also hoping tent is green as stated on website were I bought it from. Can McTavish 99 confirm the colour. Thanks.

Hi yes the colour is Green.

Thanks for all the replies and sorry its taken so long to get back on here.
Tent is now pitched in the back garden and i am really pleased with the size of it.
Will be a good fit for me and other half or OH and oldest son for short breaks. I have decided after looking at canopies its not worth it considering price we paid for the tent.
To be honest it wont really be needed unless we were on long trip with the whole family and if that was the case we would be taking bigger tent anyway.

So good old fashioned wind break and an umbrella for some outside cooking it is.
