I recently bought a Kampa Oxwich 5 tent. This is for two of us and a tunnel tent but should be put uppable on your own (if you look at the Cross Camping clip on You Tube of how to put a tunnel tent up).
We struggled to put it up to test it out recently but that is only because our garden is so small and there was, literally, not enough room to lay the poles out. That aside, on a nice camping pitch, this is a good tent. It was quite gusty when we put it up and it didn't move. It is also pretty light and the pack size isn't bad at all. It was one of the things we looked at before we decided to buy it. We also have a Ford Focus and it isn't going to take up the whole boot so that is a definite bonus. There should be enough room for whatever amount of children you take with you too. We bought it because it offered the right amount of space for us and all our gear, you can stand up in it (myself and hubby are both tall) and there is a nice sitting area with a front door that doubles as a canopy and a side door with rain cover and fly door.
In view of the colour of your previous tent, I should mention the colour, it is a mocha colour and, whilst not my favourite colour, it's not too bad at all.
They do it in a 4, 5 and 6 but I think the 6 might be too big.
Whatever tent you decide on though, you might have to travel a bit to see one. As was suggested to me when I posted to see if anyone knew where the Oxwich was on display, "it's a tunnel tent what's there to see?" well, you want to make sure it is the right size, the right pack size etc. Even with the best imagination in the world, even with dimensions, you still want to see one.
Whilst we were looking we saw a Kampa Air Tent and a Vango Airbeam tent too and, they are lovely.
Good luck and hope you find somewhere to go and see tents and hope you manage to find something that suits.
