It's that time of year again. We're looking for another tent. We need a 4 to 6 person berth. There are two of us. The most important requirement is that we should be able to stand up in it. I am 5 foot five so doesn't need to be very high. We're going on a crazy minibus tour and we won't have much room for luggage. Usually, we're both big fans of pop up tents. We have a Quechua 4.2 and another complicated titled one but neither of these are quite small enough when packed away. Unfortunately the Pop up tents take up quite a lot more room than non-pop-up and space will be a premium. Our budget is £50 - £100. It should be quite quick to pitch and polyester.

We have been looking at Coleman six weekend tents. At six point something kg, this sounds ideal on weight and space and the reviews look good. We also saw a Silhouette 200 which was more expensive at £100 and heavier at 10.6kg, but does have a sewn-in groundsheet. The Coleman doesn't have a sewn in groundsheet and we would prefer sewn-in especially as the Coleman has no separate bedroom compartment. It seems very hard to find a tent in which one can stand up, but which is not a huge family tent.

Does anybody have any thoughts?

there must be many out there, but from personal experience Vango Zeal 5, two hoop tunnel and standing room (about 195cm I think) extension/awning is also available if you need more day space

Still trying to get the packing right.
