We were wondering if there is a porch / extension available for this model or if there is a universal alternative, we are currently thinking of trying our tarp just so we can cook outside of the tent

There's never been an official extension/porch for the Carolina either front or side, unfortunately.

We use a Gelert Horizon side porch with our Carolina M and it matches up quite well. You would need to check the height of anything you buy so it roughly matches up with your tent. This looks like a newer version of the one we have:

The Gelert Chestnut colour isn't a million miles from the Outwell Mocha. We use the same porch with our Montana, so it is quite flexible in terms of fitment too.

We too use a Gelert Horizon porch. It isn't a tight snug fit with sides of the tent and the rear of the porch but it does the job...It makes a world of difference to the space available between the two and well worth the cost. I do all the cooking in the porch.

which Gelert Horizon porch do you use as there are quite a few floating about on ebay?
