I'm sorry Shaun but every time I see that Yeoman's video I just want to shout Noooo!!! ... The slightest bit of wind and that tent is away in the trees. Type "Kampa Filey 6 pitching video" into YouTube and use this as a guide to pitching any metal framed tunnel tent.

Gary has a point... I always peg the corners and guy the hoops temporarily to keep it fixed to the floor. Once the tent is standing and the rest of the poles are in, I shuffle it around so that it's nice and taught and re-peg as needed.
It takes five minutes longer, but better safe than sorry!
I sold my Montana 6 because I couldn't pitch it single handed when it was windy (and most days it is windy in Denmark!). The problem was that first frame hoop, on the Filey video they say you may need another person to help with the first one, but the Filey poles are alloy, the Montana poles are steel and MUCH heavier. Even with two kids clinging onto the pole on the opposite side of the tent, the pole got out of balance as soon as the wind caught the fly sheet, and due to it's weight used to fall down several times - until usually some fellow camper came to the rescue.
Once this first pole was standing and fixed with the guy ropes, the rest was easy, even when it was windy.

The Montana is easier with this method, once the corners are pegged well you open the front door and put the first hoop in and due to the angle of the front it will stand up on its own. Then just work back one hoop at a time.

I finally got a new tent!!! Brought the Outwell bear lake xl and managed to put in up by myself with a lil assists from my 6 year old, all she had to do was hold each pole as i plugged the other side in!!
Its a good size tent that sleeps 6 plus got a small canopy which can be zipped on and off very easily! I'm so excited now :o)))
