Hi Guys Bought my lovely Guadeloupe based on recommendations on UK Campsite and been so pleased with it. However, one issue is trying to get it back in the bag. I must be folding it incorrectly, obviously didn't pay enough attention when it arrived, I was so excited to put it up in the garden. Can anyone tell me how to fold it to get it back in the bag or does everyone have this problem? I'm on the point of buying canvas to make a bigger bag!

when we had a Barbados we struggled too. I bought an Isabella awning bag (around £16) it has a zip that runs the length of the bag and makes life so much easier. Worth every penny I thought.

Hi, I've got the Noumea which is smaller and that wouldn't go back in the bag either, so used an old tent bag instead, plus it's got handles on the bag so easier to move about which the Cabanon bag didn't have.

the Isabella bag is available in a few different sizes. I think we bought ours online from Waudbys who were the cheapest at the time and have always given us excellent service.
I'm sure the medium size with fit the Guadeloupe.

Bag? What bag? Lets face it it's a rubble sack. Cabanon are known for providing crap rubble sacks with their highest quality tents, it doesn't really make sense.
As said above, investing in a proper bag would be a wise move, however, to get the tent back in the rubble sack try and fold the flysheet into the middle as flat as possible to start with. Next fold along the longest length toward the centre (but don't quite go to the centre) and do the same with the other side. Then fold it in half. The trick is to have the width of the folded tent roughly the same as the length of the rubble sack. Then we roll the tent around the pole bag. Ours did come with two scrap strips of canvas to use as ties to hold the rolled tent together and it does help. If yours didn't then I'd suggest some heavy duty string to tie the tent up. Hope this helps.......

Thanks for the info on how to fold it up, reckon I'd be better off with a nice Isabella awning bag as suggested by savanne1. Not heard the Cabanon bags called rubble sacks before, but you're certainly right! You pay a fortune for the tent and get a miserable bag to put it in. Thanks to everyone who replied to my post.
