I would recommend the Vango Maritsa..the 600 or 700 should fit the bill for you.

Hi
Have a look at the Kampa Croydes excellent quality, nice design, easy to put up, huge windows, has the built in front canopy which can be enclosed with a vestibule if required.

Think we'll probably all recommend our own tents So, you wouldn't go far wrong with a Gelert Corvus 6+2, lovely tent, big windows all round on the latest model, side porch and front extension both available. We have the Corvus and love it, a lady called our front extension a 'conservatory' the other day when we had pitched, and funnily enough that's our name for it too! Stands up to wind and rain really well and is so roomy inside. Some pics:

Hope this helps

And I think that is by far the best bit advice anyone can give or receive, when looking for a new tent.
For our second tent, we had a 4 hour round trip to see one up, as there were none on display any nearer. Was worth it though, as we brought it home with us.
With our third tent, the only reason we bought "unseen" (we'd seen pics, of course, but not for real) was that it was an almost identical size, design and layout as our first tent, and same make, material, colour and quality as our second tent, so we pretty much knew what to expect.
Take yer time, bugbug, and enjoy the search.
Come back with your short list..... and let us make the final decision!!

We have a Vango Tigris 800 XL. Just been away for 5 days and it is spacious with a 7, 5 & 1.5 y.o. and Mr Frazzle and me. We have added the porch to the side for cooker, storage and wet shoes, clothes and brolly for when it rains and rains and pours & it did first night and last pm and night and morning.(It IS England so it will rain for you sooner or later).
It has the new larger windows the XL however to buy it second hand is like looking for a needle in a haystack so we bought new.
It dealt with the wind well (Perranporth in Cornwall).
Under the tent review (which I must get round to doing) are 3 reviews the one by the lady (and her pics) are of the older style (less windows etc) 800.

HUGE fans of the Gelert Corvus 6+2 here as well. Ours looks exactly like the photos posted above (but not as tidy). Massive tent, lots of comforts, and the best bit is there are some real bargains to be had - we paid £330 last year for the tent, footprint, fitted carpet and front porch, which makes a fantastic kitchen. You really can't go wrong with this.
