Had sort of made a choice of picking up a second hand trailer tent, but last night watched a video and they seem a lot of hassle setting them up especially if its raining.
So was looking for something that would give the equivelent size living space in a tent.
The Outwell Montana 6 seems to fit the bill, any other tents fit the bill?
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Vango Amazon is a great tent, lots of windows, built in canopy, fits on a standard pitch, seems to be lots of second hand ones around. We have a Vango Zanzibar which is the polycotton version, now discontinued but a few second hand ones around!
Outwell Glendale 5 is a fantastic tent for living space and has a built in porch too. Check out the reviews. Might be harder to pick up second hand if you are looking for a cheaper option though as they are only 2 seasons old.
Kampa Croyde 4 or 6 is fabulous and in my opinion gives the Montana 6 a real good run for the money. We've camped in wet, dry, wind etc and it's been superb. In fact we intended to buy a Monty until we saw this and bought without hesitation.
I personally would buy a Kampa Croyde over a Monty everytime, Ive had both and the Croyde is a much more practical tent with the built in front canopy and its cheaper to

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I'm very happy with my Vango Maritsa 700. It has 3 bedrooms, really big living area and large built in front canopy. It's big enough that the 4 of us don't go stir crazy when it rains.

Cheers for the replies and offers ( although a litle far away lol)
Whats the difference between the 6 and 6P?
thanks
I didn't realise there was one until last night. According to our friends who have a Monty 6, our new 6P has a hexagon shaped (panoramic!) front, where there's has a flat front. Not sure whether is makes any difference in space or comfort, but might make a difference with buying of carpets, extensions etc.
The 6p is a higher spec than the 6. The croyde is superb but just to through a spanner in the works the Vango Palena 600 dlx beats them both when it comes to fabrics and its got lots of good features.
