Hi Lemoncake! We've had a Nevada M since 2011, our first tent, which is what I call mushroom in colour! What is the difference beween an M and MP I wonder?? We've used it a few times and really like it however we bought the awning (with doors) more or less from the beginning and use that all the time. We've just bought porch poles this year to prop open the awning door which was handy for cooking after our gazebo blew away! We never use the side door, only to air the tent with the mesh nets zipped up! What is this door for - a fire exit lol. We only found the pockets at the bottom of the bedroom inner pods this year lol! I also like zipping the bedrooms up in the day as they are so messy! I think the curtains are a nice touch which we use to block out or let the sun in. Hope you get your pole sorted and I'm sure you will like the tent.  Rgds Natalie
