Looking for any pictures of this lovely awning I have just acquired. It didnt have any poles, must be at least 30 years old, hardly used. I am looking for any history about it, I live in Ipswich and know this was made in Ipswich by J Rands and Jeckell, (long shut down) handbooks, pictures, frame suggestions would be greatfully received.
I want to bring this item back to its former glory, and any idea what it actually looks like erected would be fantastic.
Happy Camping! Reg

I have just inherited a rands and jeckell ‘classic’ tent - but not with instructions unfortunately. Trying to work out how all the poles fit! Did you get any joy with any manuals etc?
Thanks
Sally
Don't know if you'll get a reply from the OP, as that appears to be their one and only post (17/8/2013) on this forum, but does the tent appear to be a fairly conventional frame tent?

Thanks so much for the reply. I would guess it is a standard frame but am a total novice. Luckily there were some colour coded stickers on some of the parts. That - and an afternoon of puzzling it out - it’s up. Picture attached. Very 70’s!!
