Hi I've recently bought a vango Icarus 600 in blue, not the dark blue, model, more of a sky/royal blue, love the tent, However really want to get a matching canopy for those longer trips, for example when we go to France for two weeks next year. I don't want the Lomond 600 canopy as its too short, wanting the proper Icarus 600 canopy in the same
Royal/sky blue. Seen a few on eBay, but all were collectiononly and too far away to collect myself. I'm aware you can get the moss green canopy, Howver if possible would like the Icarus 600 canopy in the same blue, I've scoured the web for some stock, but it seems Vango stop production very quickly once a
New model comes out... Please help!!!.... Any ideas for
New stock or if you know someone selling one please let me know, or as it stands I will just keep watchin Rnay and Gumtree, thanks in advance for any help!!

     Is your tent a 2010 model, the colour of blue that year was Ensine/Bluebell, the bum of the tent a darker blue and the front a lighter blue. I would keep looking on Ebay and if one does come up ask if you could arrange a courier.

I'm having the same problem trying to find an enclosed canopy in moss green. Seems Vango are missing a trick if there's so many people seeking canopies.
Wish I could help you, but I've just sold my blue one which would have been what you were looking for!! Sorry not much help I'm sure - but keep looking they do appear on the various sites, its just a matter of time.
(PS if anyone does have a canopy for sale could they let me know.)
On my quest if I see one suitable for you I shall post here! Sometimes the best way to find something specific is by word of mouth.

Thanks , will let you know if a green one turns up!... Have noticed they have disappeared too!.... Strange carry on with Vango. Have you tried Decathlon in store?... Different stock to online, my decathlon has had it in moss green this summer.

Regards the 600 in green, Just spoke to Decathlon and they don't have stock, apparently Vango have ran out, due tone unexpected hot weather, the under estimated required stock levels, however, rest assured, apparently they will have more moss green 600 canopies in stock this year, so just a case of keeping on checking.

It sounds like the op's tent colour is Surf Blue. I've got a Midas 400 in the same colour which I'm looking for a canopy for and they are proving to be rarer than radium.

I spoke to a very helpful retailer this morning who told me that the big problem is that Vango don't make enough canopies in relation to the quantity of tents - probably for every ten tents they only make two canopies so supplies dry up very quickly.

I've also heard that as soon as Vango bring out a new line, they stop production on old colours immediately, hence why stock drys up so
quick. Bit dft really when you consider loyal customers who invest in Vango tents as long term investments.

I shall try buying one next season, if I cant it looks like Im heading towards a new tent (and canopy at the same time!!)

I would like to swop my green Icarus 500 for a blue one! Has anyone got one? We used our green twice but it is not in a new condition anymore as we camped on a very windy campsite once in Wales and it snapped the poles. We fixed it with gaffs tape.
