After much deliberation I have shelled out on an new Outwell Hartford XLP.
I have had a go at pitching it fort the first time this evening - I hope to get better at putting it up!
however...
The poles are all colour coded so you cant go wrong except the very front pole sleeve (over the front door) is colour coded silver (maybe grey) but I was only left with a black pole which seemed too long?
Have you got a new Hartford XLP? do you have a sliver (maybe grey) colour coded pole ?
TIA.

yes, I checked the lengths of all of them when I took it down, all the colours I have are the same length as each other.
I have noticed too, that my poles differ from the ones on the outwell site, mine each have a coloured section in the middle rather than a small coloured band at each end although this could just be a minor design change by outwell I guess.

Ok, I'm sorted now but I thought I would post again in case this happens to any others.
Basically there was a snafu by outwell, I had 2 back poles and no grey one, the grey pole is about 8" shorter than s black one.
Although I had to return my whole tent for refund and buy one from somewhere else to find that out!
You would think that with such an expensive purchase you would get a piece of paper saying what bits should be in the box, also since its virtually impossible to buy a whole replacement pole you should get told the spec of the poles you need, length, diameter etc. in case you break one.
