Last year I tried out 'car camping' literally, in my 407SW which has the benefit of having two clear meters of very nearly flat space in the back with the rear seats flattened. I used an airbed but it kept slipping and so one thing I would say is that some of the mesh you get to put under rugs would be a good idea.
I was only overnighting so didn't bother with the tarp I had brought along with me.

No other photos I'm afraid, it doesn't exactly fit on the car the connecting 'tunnel' flaps over the car and is strapped down with guy ropes the other side as there is no gutter on my car to connect to.
