First post :)

I've been browsing the tent reviews and after visiting camping shops I'm considering these tents

Vango Maritsa 700
Hi gear Corado 8
Kampa Studland 8
Kampa Broadhaven 8

Would you recommend any of the above or can you recommend any other tents please?

Hey Dolly-Daydream

Not sure about the others, but we currently have the Vango Maritsa 700; prior to that we had the Kalahari 8.

We changed from the Kalahari to the Maritsa so we could have an integrated porch area, whereas with the Kalahari we had a separate porch.

For six of you, although the Maritsa would give you more living space, you would have more bedroom options with the Kalahari.

Have you been to see them both pitched? A trip to Go Outdoors could be the deciding factor for you!

Ooh I think we ruled that one out because it didn't have the additional storage areas like the Studland & Broadhaven.

Unfortunately out go outdoors didn't have the Maritsa or Kalahari 10 on display which is a shame.
I'm thinking the Maritsa maybe too small for the 6 of us.

We just received the vango tirgis 800xl - we are the same as you 2 adults and 4 children - this tent is huge !
Just put it up briefly today in the front field - we were so excited by the shear size of the box it came in !
I have no facility to go to see tents pitched so bought it from reviews on here and thrawlling the net.
We are very new to camping but I think this will be great for us .

If you like the Tigris 800xl (nice tent) then the Vango Astoria 800 might grab you even more.

Tent purchased

We went for the Studland 8 after much to-ing & fro-ing!
Putting it up on driveway later just to have a practice, if we do it within 2hrs I'll be happy
