Hi all, new member so my first post!
Does anyone have a pre-2013 Outwell Bear Lake 6 front extension they would like to sell? My understanding is that the 2013 extension will not fit older tents like ours as the dimensions have changed. We are in Lancashire and would ideally like to find one we can drive to collect and pay for in cash.

Look for tents on eBay etc that are advertised with one and make them an offer for just the extension.

They're like hens teeth. I advertised my BL6 with front extension on eBay and gumtree. I had no less than 23 enquiries in 4 days asking me to sell just the extension.

I did eventually as I got more than I paid for it new.

You can set up a search on eBay, just for the front extension, if that's what you want. They do come up.

Alternatively, if camping in warmer/stiller climes, the windbreak virtually meets the pre-2013 canopy edge, as here:

Thanks for the pointers. Ive already been doing all those things. Most people selling a package dont want to split. I've been watching the ebay item, but its already at £211 with 12 hours to go (and its damaged). Hens teeth indeed as you say.

I have to say I think it improves the tent no end, so recommend you do get hold of one. In holland we lived in outs.

i had the front extension when i had my 2012 bear lake and its a lovely area to sit under.

i bought the front extension for my trout lake at the same time as buying the tent - its an essential in my book!

good luck with finding one!
