Just thinkin' there's an unused (with labels and all that)Lichfield Cherokee 3 on e.bay weighs about 5.5kg I think (reviews on this forum are good)
but anyhoo generally in the 5-10kg pack weight range not the 15-20kg big tunnels then? Considering if you're walking with it you'll be carrying other stuff too
I mostly use the 3 berth, 7kg-ish nice to have a bit of room, but I don't personally carry it very far - the bike does that bit

can't say really, I don't know it. I did internet searches when I was looking to buy, and made a list with all the specifics height, pack size, weight, pole type and fabric of the tents that seemed ok. not prices I note (having just found the list) but I ended up being seduced by a one off sample
Gelert Valley3, Vangos Equinox and Omega and Lichfield's Arisaig were all in the mix at the time, plus the Vaude Opera 2 and others

be aware that the vango omega does not have s sewn in groundsheet - it clips in at the corners only.
if its windy, the wind comes right into the tent, carrying any rain drops with it and the result is things in the living area get wet. it was cold and draughty inside even in the bedroom area.
thats why i sold mine. this tent has an excellent 5000mm hh flysheet and why vango didnt put in a sewn in groundsheet is beyond me. utter madness.
have you seen the Kampa Minnis4? excellent tent and in my opinion a better tent than the omega. sewn in grounsheet, flexible detachable bedroom pods and very sturdy. very much prefer it to the omega i had before.
