Hi can anyone tell me if the vents on this tent have mesh across them and not just open to let bugs in, as I looked at video on youtube and it just looks open, and is it realy easy to put up, and do you miss not having windows.

Many thanks,
Roz.

Hiya :) I've got one of these, one of my posts (I can't do links on my phone) shows the inside of this tent as I bought one at the end of the summer. The vents are all meshed. It is incredibly easy to put up, peg out four corners, walk in with middle pole, put in two front poles, finish extra pegs, guy lines job done. It took me 15 minutes from arrival to putting up the bunting lol

The down sides are that if you have the red one, everything is very red, as there are no windows you don't get any natural light at all. If you have the black one then it will be incredibly dark

I discovered that when it rains and you have to close the door you obviously can't look out and just watch things and it can get very boring in the red gloom. The door can only be turned into a canopy by using clipits or something.

It also doesn't have any zipped entry for the EHU whichhas to go through the door.

It does cause a bit of a stir on a camp site and when I took it out for the first time to Lady Heyes I was known as the lady in the circus tent lol

It's also not big enough for 4. 2 absolute maximum.

Thanks Janice and Bob for the link, what a lovely tent and accessaries, still not sure though, I like the look of the Wave Dimension, and I am sure I would be able to put it up myself as it will be me and greatgrandson 6, as rest of family not keen. I looked at the Outwell Birdland 3, but it has the same setup as my Akashi, and after my total knee replacement, I am finding it a bit of a struggle and thought the Cabana would be manageable on my own.
