Like lots of us I am always in the market for a new tent, and this looks perfect for my needs. 2 adults can have a big bedroom, one for the kids, and lots of living area with a fixed porch.
Has anyone seen one of these before, I am assuming it is new for 2014. Perhaps Cross Camping can give some advice! I cannot see it for sale anywhere as yet, but would assume once on the market it would be a bit cheaper than the £620 listed on the Vango website.
What do you folks think of the tent?

If you are not finding it on retailers websites then maybe no one went for it. I thought it was great but felt it needed the front enclosed or adaptable to being open or closed. We went for the Outwell Glendale 7 and the Kampa croyde 6 & 8 instead. Sorry, I'm a big vango fan but you can't stock everything.

the maritsa was a better tent - if only for the fact you can close off the front porch area.
what are vango thinking of???
this is a tent which presumeably is aimed at the uk market - havent they looked outside and noted the predominant weather conditions in this country!?!?!?!
yes, in the south of france and perhaps spain etc, this will be a lovely tent with open front canopy but how about a closeable front for when these pesky showers come!!!
at least Outwell offer a choice of extensions or awnings offering a choice of fully open or with an openable/closeable door!
wake up vango!

Have seen this in Go Outdoors today. They very graciously pitched it for me to have a look at (after a little prompt by the CEO of Go Outdoors, who happened to be there!)
It seems a nice tent, I do like the canopy at the front, quality seems ok. The only thing that I didn't like was the colour -it seemed a little light - compared to the Vango Palena, that we were also looking at. The space of the living area also seemed a little better in the Palena.
Having said that, if the Palena wasn't available, I think I would go for the Nadina.
I've seen the Nadiana set up in GoOutdoors, and it is a nice tent, but I didn't buy it precisely due to the porch issue.
I wanted an area to put the cooking stuff/toilet/boots etc. If its raining, then the porch is just not long enough to keep that stuff dry. Having just been camping for the first time, I really appreciated that extra dry space.
I went for a Maritsa 700 in the end, which is very very similar but has a closed porch (I actually bought the nadina carpet as I couldn't get hold of one which is a bit small but would probably fit the Maritsa 600 perfectly)

imagine your pitched on a nice sunny day in that tent. go to bed and in middle of the night you hear the pitter patter of raindrops and then the tent starts flapping about around 30 flaps a minute, ( gentle ).
an hour later the rain is heavier and the wind has got up to 60+ flaps a minute!
where you think the wind is going to carry that rain?
right inside the whole area of that canopy! everything in there will get wet - unless of course your not going to store anything in there!
whereas the Maritsa has a openable / closeable door where the nadina hasnt/ so on the maritsa - just close the door when going to bed and alls well - the area can be used to store things in the knowledge if it rains, they wont get wet.
its very odd how vango have just removed the door and left an opening like that.
like you say though, your new to camping and its only by doing it that you learn lots of things as you go along! i was same in the beginning - what iv learned from on here and by being out there and doing it would fill encyclopedia brittanica!

We have been looking at so many tents; this one seems to fit the bill for us. There are 5 of us, we think the awning is fab, yes it does not zip up, but get there are plenty of tents out there with the bedrooms and living rooms but no awning of any kind... So the awning is extra! We personally love it's spaciousness and versatility! We compared with 2 outwell tents and whilst they were good, they just didn't have the magic of this one! It's, light and airy and has lots of lovely features! Well done vango!! We love it!!!!
Having spent ages researching tents online and deciding to go for another Outwell tent (we currently have an ancient Montana 6, which despite all re-proofing efforts resembles a swimming pool every time it rains) we went to Go Otdoors and ended up with the Nadina. These are are reasons:
1/ Price - £550 for the tent, footprint and carpet
2/ 3 double bedrooms. We're planning to use the two outers for sleeping, and the centre one to store our stuff (clothes, footballs, cricket bats, wetsuits, food etc). We use stacking collapsible crates, so can make good use of the area rather than clogging up the living space.
3/ Very generous living space with good head height.
4/ Nice and bright and airy for when the sun shines.
5/ Covered front area with which can be used for cooking under cover - only negative comment so far is that this could do with being half a metre longer (but if it proves to be an issue I will just make an extension by cannibalising the leaky Outwell).
Anyhow ... hoping to go camping soon so will see what we shall see. With any luck the product will be added to the list soon so I'll be able to review.
