We currently have a Wynnster Monmouth 6 but sadly it has seen its last outing :(
We'd like a tent as near to this as possible so

Sewn in groundsheet
3 separate bedrooms (not split larger pods)
6/9 berth

Is there anything else out there that fits this?

Any help appreciated

If you can find three separate bedrooms that are not split larger pods then let me know. I think this is something you're going to have to compromise on.

When it was possible to get a tent with a central dome and two or three outshots on it then you would have got completely independent sleeping pods. That shape has fallen out of favour (each pod had restricted height, and overall the tent took up a lot of space). Now the most frequently used shape is a tunnel tent. You can get one with all bedrooms up one end, or bedroom pods at both ends with a smaller living space in the middle.

You could explore using a separate 'pup' tent instead?

The Outwell Hartford XLP is one option that has 3 completely separate sleeping pods.

I didn't know the Hartford was still being made.It raises a good point about buying an older model second hand too.

Or how about the Outwell Georgia 7P ? It has 1 larger pod on its own, and 2 smaller pods, but only the 2 smaller pods are connected and then its at the 'head/foot' end and not side by side Georgia 7P There is also a 5P version.

Thankyou people. I can find a few second hand that fit pod wise but don't have a sewn in groundsheet which is non negotiable. Will check out the suggestions and hopefully find our new tent :)

I had a Vango airbeam 800 and from memory they had separate pods(I think ) but could be mistaken, I know it definitely had two separate at one end, not sure about the other.

I think the kampa broadhaven meets the criteria. It's massive too.

Hello, we have one that fits your 3 requirements. However it is a tunnel tent.
Vango Tigris 800xl.
Sewn in groundsheet,
4 person bedroom - can divide with fabric but no zip or seems on floor or roof, at other end. (Windows end) 2 and separate 2.
Not a 6 or 9 birth but an 8.

We have the side ext/porch too and use as a porch and kitchen. Has ground sheet but not sewn in for this bit.

The obvious answer is the Vango Diablo. Three completely separate sleeping rooms.

The Vango Midas 800 is a tunnel tent with 3 x separate inners (one is split with a divider, but that's to make a 4th bedroom space). The living area isn't huge, but I believe the Tigris 800XL has the same bedroom layout but bigger living space and cover over the side door.

We have one for sale here - http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/forsale/v/Outwell-Norfolk-lake-polycotton-+-more/20976#

It has 3 separate sleeping areas, where the back pod can be opened up, but there is a zip that completely seals it off from the one beside it.

Also a good sized kitchen area, and canopy for a bit of extra space!

Hope this helps!

Emma
