Hi' i am desperately on the look out for a side porch or extension for my 2011model gelert corvus beyond 6 +2 tent in blue. I have trawled the internet and it appears that the model may be discontinued. Would be grateful if anyone knew what the green extension might look like on the blue tent or a porch/ extension that may also fit. I have read that the porch of the 5 +2 model would work with mine but not so sure?   Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi. If I'm right you should be able to fit the hi gear Kalahari 8 front and side canopy . They are copys for your tent but made by hi gear and with a different name.

I agree with Belinda, the Kalahari porches are similar if not a perfect fit (see pic)



But for what I can gather, the proper side porch doesn't fit the Corvus 6+2 that well anyway due its straight poles. It fits better onto the Corvus Meridian, as this has curved sides due to the flexy poles.
I got mine off Fleabay for £28 as a 'returned item' due to leaking roof, (guess what it hasn't leaked since I've used it) and I am very happy with it.

You can't get much better than the advice above

I was considering adding the side porch to our 5+2 but thought better of it after buying the front porch...I would advise you not be tempted to buy the front as an alternative.

The front porch takes a lot of time an effort to get right and extends an already long tent into nearly a 9m monster.

I believe the Gelert large universal side canopy or the meridian 10 will fit and will come in the vibrant blue if can find one.

Otherwise consider a day tent

Sorry for late reply. Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to look at the kalahari and the meridian 10 as alternatives i think. Am going away for easter weekend so i have a little time to search. Thanks again.
