Widening the choices is exactly why I posted, VangoMan02!
I've not used the Phad X3 yet but, having pitched it in 7 minutes flat (I timed it!) to check it out, I can recommend it as an easy-pitch (one end of the sleeves is sealed, so different to the run of the mill ring and pin design) and very stable.
It's also a great price, at the moment, which is always a consideration.

Maybe it was just that your post followed mine and you suggested something more robust was needed that I presumed you were saying the Vango's were not up to the job, which they are as reviews prove. Especially the typhoon, halo and tempest all within the price you paid if you shop around.
As is your Coleman as you say..is it still the same lime green and black colour.

There are many good tents out there that can handle the wind and rains. Etsbed asked for more head room, 3 person, with a small porch. I personally would love the Phad, But living in the USA I can't get this tent! Coleman has got some type of restriction on shipping it here. I digressed. Sorry.
